Ethno Village Bijambare

ETHNO VILLAGE BIJAMBARE  – guided tour

Located some 60 kilometers from Sarajevo, the Ethno Village is a unique example of preserved history. Situated atop of Nišići plateau, its facilities offer a superb combination of clean air, wonderfully tasting traditional Bosnian food, and a snapshot of untouched nature as it has been for centuries. Walking distance away is Bijambare Cave, one of the most beautiful cave halls in B&H. In the vicinity of the Cave, there are the Bradic brooks with a lake and a water-mill, and the Bjelila brook that traverses the Bijambare forest and clearings in the woods. The Bijambare area, together with the Bijambare Cave, is one of the rare excursion sites that suits equally all admirers of Nature: it represents a genuine pleasure for the admirers of caves, clear waters, pine forests and the ubiquitous forest silence.

This guided tour is for all of those who have a longing for the planet Earth as it once was – or perhaps, as it was meant to be.

MOSTAR – GUIDED TOUR

Mostar, the old bridge
"When you spend a night in Mostar, it is not the sound that wakes you up in the morning, but- the light. I know this from my own experience. It was the light that welcomed me when I arrived, it followed me from the morning to the evening, and when I left, that light forever stayed in me as the main characteristic of my memories of Mostar..."

Ivo Andrić, Nobel Prize winner

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. If that is true, then Mostar is worth a million. So, without further ado – please come and see it for yourself.

 MEDJUGORJE – GUIDED TOUR

Or just stay in Sarajevo and visit:

 BAŠČARŠIJA

BascarsijaIf you are more of an urban person, then Sarajevo Downtown is a place for you. The world famous Baščaršija houses too many tourist attractions, hidden bazaars, monuments, and religious places to be visited in a single day. You just have to experience the ominous sound of silence inside the Sarajevo Cathedral, the peaceful sanctity of Ali-Pasha Mosque, the hectic rush of Gazi-Husref’s bay bazaar, or the intimate hospitality of the small craft shops at the Coppersmiths Street.

For those who favor an individual approach to city exploration, we gathered some useful links that might be helpful in navigation. Please visit some of the best restaurants and bars in Sarajevo – logos on this page will re-direct you to their Web pages.

Stay for a weekend in Sarajevo. Get a load off your back, schedule a guided tour of your choice, and enjoy every second of it!

Sincerely Yours,
Partnerships in Health Team
